Calibration of extensometers

SLM offers its new service – calibration of the extensometers used for one axle tensile tests, being the part of the tensile testing machines. These measuring instruments shall be calibrated in order to assure the quality of the presented results of the mechanical material tests in accordance with STN EN ISO 9513“2003 standard.

The equipment is used for the evaluation of the strength and deformation material characteristics. That means, in addition to the strength measurements, the measurement of the tested sample elongation is also important for the material properties analysis. SLM provides this service using the top quality equipment intended for extensometers of the classes 0,2 up to 2, in accordance with the classification of the extensometers specified in STN EN ISO 9513. Besides the calibration of this equipment, we provide also the calibration of other one axle measuring instruments used in the tensile testing machines and presses, such as deformation measuring instruments.
